When he was a promising scout for a professional baseball team, a manager met a high school student with dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, Gi-jeong. The manager was the only person Gi-jeong had ever known to believe in him just the way he was. However, their joy was short-lived because the manager suddenly quit the team’s scout position without any explanation and disappeared completely. After five years, the manager returned to the same minor league team but was named the Performance Analysis Manager. It was then that he reunited with, and found out how much Gi-jeong had matured into a great professional player. The way Gi-jeong has grown up and matured since the last time they met causes the manager to feel awkward, but nonetheless, he cannot take his eyes off Gi-jeong. Just as time stood still due to the two men’s longing for each other, the time has now started moving again, and it is as if the two of them are feeling the ultimate joy on the blazing pitcher’s mound.
