Mo Hyun-lim, a shaman, has received a request from the family of chief of a far-off island village, a family suffering through generations of curse affliction. He decides to travel to the island of Angi-do to free them from their predicament and to make a good amount of money in the process.

Sadly for him, he ends up meeting Sanho who was brought up as a curse bearer for the family.

“You can’t do anything about it! Everyone lives like that anyway.” He had no desire to meddle in other people’s business.

They say that no one can stand against God, but there is no need to assert that against a mere person.

“…Right? Well, even if there isn’t any reason for that, it really is how everything works around here.”

“To sum it up, you are just as bad as the rest of them!”
