Summary
At the lower level of the soon-to-be-demolished Lafayette Apartments, a dumpling shop called Moon Dumpling is operated by Eve. One bitterly cold winter’s day, she accepts a vagrant named Rex into her home, a ravishingly attractive man who supports himself on flowers.
What Eve doesn’t know is that Rex is actually the last surviving heir to the building—a well-known troublemaker amongst the upper crust of Manhattan. For his own reasons, Rex has chosen to live as a flower beggar and has chosen to stay in Moon Dumpling in order to assist Eve in her business.
Eve is constantly challenged by Rex in which he passionately pursues and refers to her as “noona” in Korean, causing Eve to question her previous decisions. What does the relationship have in store for the two of them?
