Summary
In order to form a military alliance between the Northern Kingdom of Leracal and the Southern Kingdom of Arnata, the two reigning royal families have agreed to arrange a marriage alliance. Tei, who is recognized throughout the Northern lands and infamous for being both a warrior and more so a monster slayer, has volunteered himself to be the hostage for Leracal, giving up his title as a warrior in exchange for the title of husband. When Tei arrives in Arnata, he does not receive the hostility he expected; instead, he finds a serene and confident young man who is the Crown Prince Shuraka, and the two of them will become both husband and wife, as well as the future Padisha of the unified kingdom. However, in order for Shuraka to take his rightful place as Padisha, he must first survive the current rebellion and slay those who would be his enemies, including his brothers. Tei has pledged to protect Shuraka no matter what; therefore, on a night when the moon is full and the stars shine bright, two hearts are torn between their loyalties and longings and begin to blossom.
