Seo Nayoung is your average sophomore, shy and reserved. When she joins the board game club Playmate for the first time, her intentions are purely innocent. She has found herself in a warm, friendly environment surrounded by caring seniors who want to mentor her. The experience was perfect and Nayoung was having the time of her life. Until one day when she finds out that the club has a whole different side to it. When they tell her “The loser of the game will accept a penalty.” The games started out as harmless fun and quickly turned into something much more, as the execution of the penalties escalated. The penalties began to blur the lines for Nayoung and opened her up to desires she never knew existed within her. Now instead of wanting to leave the games behind her, she finds herself looking forward in anticipation to the next game she can join. This is when she began to realize that once she became a player, there was no turning back from the game board.
